TwoHuus is the most beautiful

The two architect-designed houses impress at first glance with a modern combination of clinker brick and anthracite-coloured window frames as well as grey façade elements. The flats are at least as attractive.

Macro location North Sea

Norddeich is located on the Schleswig-Holstein North Sea coast between the holiday resorts of Büsum and St. Peter-Ording. The popular harbour town of Büsum is an ideal starting point for excursions into the Wadden Sea and St. Peter-Ording is a first-class surf and kite spot with an XXL sandy beach.

Here in Dithmarschen, everything is close by and easy to reach. From the south, you can easily reach your new home on the North Sea by car via the motorway 23 or the main roads 5 and 203. You can reach Norddeich by train via Hamburg or Neumünster via Wesselburen and from there easily by bus.

Crab paradise

Büsum has one of the largest fleets of shrimp boats in Germany. The seafood has made the lively harbour town famous. The harbour offers freshly caught crabs from the cutter and excursions to the seal banks.

Wehle

There are small lakes in Norddeich. They are called "Wehle" and are witnesses to past storm surges. Wherever there used to be a breach in the dyke, the water collected in a small depression.

Seal station

In Friedrichskoog, holidaymakers of all ages can watch grey seals and harbour seals. There is also the well-known "howler" breeding centre, an adventure exhibition and a new observation deck.

Micro location Norddeich

Norddeich is pure idyll. Stroll through the small village streets, past thatched cottages over 100 years old and fragrant hedge roses to the endless green dyke. Let your gaze wander over the Wadden Sea to the horizon or in the other direction over fields and meadows as far as the eye can see.

Norddeich not only offers plenty of nature and tranquillity, but also lots of variety. The pony farm is the biggest attraction for little holidaymakers and a mudflat hike is the perfect family adventure.

Wesselburen is only a few kilometres away. Here you'll find the Hebbel Museum, pretty little cafés with Frisian cakes and more, a heated swimming pool and a large indoor and outdoor playground.

At home in the north

This area of Dithmarschen is also known as "North Sea country". Framed by the North Sea, the Kiel Canal and the rivers Eider and Elbe, it is a beautiful piece of land full of character - just like the locals who live there.

For hundreds of years, the locals here have defied the power of the sea with a down-to-earth attitude and North German serenity. This makes for a soothing deceleration that is contagious. When it comes to stress and hectic, the tide is always low in Norddeich. When it comes to nature, leisure activities and hospitality, however, there is a flood of beautiful moments to experience.

The unique landscape of the Wadden Sea, the country inns with typical cabbage and fish specialities, small cafés under thatch, picturesque towns such as Husum, the "grey town by the sea", or "Little Amsterdam" Friedrichstadt - there is plenty to discover and experience around your new home in Norddeich all year round.

Eider barrage

At almost 200 kilometres long, the Eider is Schleswig-Holstein's longest river. It stretches from the North Sea almost all the way to the Baltic Sea. The Eider barrage has been protecting the hinterland from the storm surges of the North Sea since 1973 and is only 16 kilometres away from Norddeich.

Wadden Sea

There are more than 10,000 animal and plant species in the Wadden Sea and around 10 million migratory birds stop off here every year on their journey. No wonder that this unique natural landscape around Norddeich is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Cabbage paradise

Dithmarschen is home to Europe's largest cabbage-growing region. In Wesselburen, between Büsum and St. Peter-Ording, there is even a museum dedicated to Dithmarschen's national dish, cabbage. There is plenty to discover and taste in an old sauerkraut factory.
