My personal holiday tip for a holiday home holiday: "Horizonte Zingst" environmental photo festival (photographers and nature enthusiasts), Darßer Weststrand, the Hanseatic town of Greifswald - birthplace of the painter Caspar David Friedrich (the chalk cliffs of Rügen) and the monastery ruins in Eldena near Greifswald, as well as the museum harbour with many old ships.
My dream holiday home / dream holiday flat: Located on the Baltic Sea in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern directly on the water and adjacent to a coniferous forest. The house has a thatched roof, floor-to-ceiling windows around the house for a beautiful view of the water and the forest, and a large wooden terrace with a rocking chair to look out to sea. The house also has a fireplace and a hot tub. Spacious living area - that's all I need.

My personal holiday tip for a holiday home holiday: Walk the dog on the beach in the morning at sunrise and then have breakfast in peace on the balcony or terrace. In the afternoon, cycle along the Bay of Lübeck and stop off at various restaurants and cafés. Barbecue on the terrace/balcony in the evening and round off the day.
