Dahme is located between the towns of Kellenhusen and Grube on the Bay of Lübeck. Around 60,000 bathers come to Dahme every year to enjoy the 6.5 kilometre-long sandy beach, the 22,000 m2 spa park and the lakeside promenade with its many small cafés, shops, restaurants and thatched-roof houses. One of Dahme's most popular attractions is the listed Dahmeshöved lighthouse, where wedding couples can say "I do" with a view of the Baltic Sea. There is also a "little Swede", a 24-tonne boulder from the last ice age and the remains of a tower mound castle, the "Wittenwiewerbarg".

In addition to guided hikes, bat tours and wildlife feeding , the 600-hectare Kellenhusen forest also offers the trendy new "forest bathing" programme, where participants can discover and enjoy the forest with all their senses.

Those who prefer to discover the forest and waves on the move will find seven routes for jogging and walking in Kellenhusen as well as numerous cycle routes in the surrounding area. On a guided beach discovery tour or a geological hike, you can discover exciting information about the animals, plants and rocks of the Baltic Sea. Every evening after dark, Kellenhusen's pier is illuminated in a colourful light.

On special occasions, there are also light shows with a total of 31,000 LEDs and 712 metres of light strips on the "light bridge". An unforgettable spectacle and holiday photo motif.

The city of Lübeck is approx. 40 minutes by car from Kellenhusen, Hamburg and Kiel approx. 70 minutes. Kellenhusen can also be reached via the railway stations Neustadt in Holstein, Lensahn and Oldenburg in Holstein. There are direct bus connections from the railway stations to the popular seaside resort on the Bay of Lübeck.
